Equipment
~ Basses ~
Fodera Emporer 5 string, 34” scale, quilted maple top, ash body,
maple neck, birdseye maple frettboard, Seymour Duncan dual coil
pickups, Mike Pope preamp. This has been my main bass for the past
12 years. A few upgrades in pickups and preamps over the years.
64’
Fender Jazz Bass, pickups and circuit were not original, unknown
manufacturer. Joey Lauricella of Fodera, installed specially wired
vintage Seymour Duncan pickups and circuit, than beefed it up for
me. This bass has great thump and punch.
~ Amplification ~
Epifani UL 502, now my main amp of choice. 600w, 4 ohms, (it thinks
it has 1200 watts). The tone is incredible, even set flat, it sounds
better than any other preamp I’ve played through.
Walter Woods, Ultra High Power, 1200 watts, 4 ohms

My
thanks and appreciation to Nick Epifani, Vinnie Fodera, Joey
Luaricella and the Fodera Family, not just for their dedication and
commitment to the low end and building great basses, but also for
the friendship and generosity they have always extended to me.
